Send me your best transfer advice please! Might be a silly question but…when using underglaze transfers- Can I stack my pieces when I bisque? I usually single fire this clay, but I think the transfers need to be fired once so they don’t smudge when I apply clear.

In town for a week over the holiday! Seems like a lot of places are closed during the Xmas-New Years time, suggestions on any bars/restaurants? Any other excursion type info also appreciated, we are a group of 6 adults with paddle boards and kayaks.

Finally finished my ideal ash tray! With a spot to neatly put out joints, a bowl poker, and it comes apart to empty so ashes and butts are out of sight! More variations to come.

Single fire, low-fire clay advice please! Going to attempt a single fire on this low-fire clay. I have used stroke and coat as they advertise use on green ware leaving lots of open space on the bottoms. Does anyone have experience with this? I can find very little online so far!

About to practice trimming on these. (Picture is wet/freshly thrown, leather hard now) any tips? I got a wheel for my bday about a week ago and these are the first pieces I’ve pulled off. Learning at home only. All advice welcomed.

Low fire (cone 04-08) clay question - can I fire things I make with this at home? Obvi not in the oven, but I do have a big all dirt yard… (also any low fire glaze advise appreciated)

I’ve wanted a similar ashtray for a while and I finally made one! Plus a little poker that will have wire in it. (Hopefully it survives!)

My neighbor never turns off their insanely bright garage light, but the lighting sure makes my kitchen window plants look sweet at night!
