This is a stupid post and sorry in advance, but I am very worried. I may have caused glaucoma by putting pressure on my eye due to high stress. I've had a habit the past year doing so, and now I see a red circle and my eye is leaking.

Another reminder to newbies: Do NOT buy leads from any lead gen companies. Especially these "pay per close + activation fee". The scammers will rob you, hustle you for the pennies that you have. They're thriving because many agents keep falling for it. PT Barnum was right. Remember PT before buying.

I ran my first FB Ad campaign today for home valuations. I set it to $50/day for 10 days = $500 to test it out. So far, 0 leads on Day 1 ($46.21 spent). I'll keep calibrating, but I really hope to get to about $10-$15 a lead max. What is your cost per FB lead right now?

I know a lot of people hate Zillow.... but I feel like their latest move banning private listings from Zillow is a GOOD thing for the industry. Imagine if a big brokerage takes over 40% of the market share someday and hordes listings in-house? Zillow striking back at them put them in their place.

Please tell me this doesn't happen in our industry. It doesn't right? I mean you have to show an ID at the exam centers. It would explain how some are in the industry though.

Be careful with hiring unlicensed "Virtual Assistants" to cold call real estate leads. You could be opening the door to massive liability. Find someone with a real estate license to do it.

If a brokerage tells you they are going to give you a lot of high quality leads, they are most likely pulling your leg. Verify the minimum amount of leads that they will give you each week and more importantly verify the sources.
