This was painful to read - not just as a musician, but as a person. What he did is a form of sexual assault. I hope that you can find a friend who will advocate for you. I totally understand wanting to avoid the venue, but you shouldn’t have to. You didn’t do anything wrong. I came from a background of abuse, sexual as well. Avoidance is easy, but it doesn’t make the pain of it all go away.

I'm so very sorry for what you've been through. I don't want to misrepresent the situation. I'm gender non-binary / non-conforming. But I'm more on the mail presenting side of the spectrum, although most people who know me or meet me understand to use they / them pronouns. The person who did this is female. I'm sorry for what you've been through, and I appreciate the sympathy / empathy.
