You’re welcome, there are other comments i made further down which may come across a bit harsher and i really didn’t mean them to be, but your situation reminded me of my late brother and i think my emotions may have gotten away with me so if they seem harsh then i do apologise about that. But i do think you need to be a bit less selfless and a little more selfish especially in the financial situation and how much work you’re doing if not for your sake then for your girlfriends, staying at home doing nothing all day will not be helping her depression, putting her in a position where she has to be financially self reliant maybe the push she needs and getting back out there might help her work through her depression.

The most important thing to do is trust your gut. I’ve stayed in relationships that have passed there sell by date, that i knew in my guy was over but didn’t want to hurt my partner and wasn’t ready to let go and go back to unknown, but i felt so disconnected from my partner and so alone in my relationship that i was practically single already and no matter how much I tried to force I just couldn’t make it work and the relationship ended, we had been together 7 years and it was hard for a while, but now i feel like the relationship ending was best thing to happen for both of us. If you’re in the same boat then it won’t matter how much you try to convince yourself that it will workout, but if this is not the case and you still have hope that you can make things work then the best thing you can do is be honest with your partner and go from there.

Yeah for sure. I think breaking up would be good for us in the long run, but I don't think it's the only option I have right now. We'll see what happens after we talk, I have a slight feeling she doesn't want to be in the relationship anymore anyways.
