I suppose from my perspective the “one thing” as you say was really a number of things… we lost 30 minutes of a 4.5 hour reception to a random singer, my husband and his family had a very triggering reminder of his mum’s funeral (very recent to the wedding, she sadly passed less than 12 months prior) and we didn’t get our sunset photos. But I hear you, and I am grateful for the good things on the day.
