Thoughts and experiences with Bethel people

I have had pleasant interactions with many church members and they are pleasant mostly. If there's more than three it.gets super weird and awkward and someone tries to "pray over me" no thanks seems to make them upset. I haven't been to the church in at least 15 years and when I did "Angel feathers" fell from the vents...they looked like the feathers on Halloween costumes lol. I went with a friend and didn't go again. I had neighbors heavily involved with bethel and they constantly mooched off EVERYONE and said they could because their church. They wanted to use my electricity when theirs got shut off because "The Lord would want it" once even saying "It's the bethel way". They did it with their Internet too, when I said no they offered me the chance to pay their bill for them instead...nope. Their son had whooping cough for over a year because they wanted to treat it with prayer and vitamin c. It was absolutely insane. Then there was that whole preying on heartbroken parents telling them they would bring their daughter back from the dead, she was like three or something how tragic and terrible is that!!

Yes, this is so relatable. Especially the 'as a singular person, they're great and nice typically but when there's a bunch of em... what. So greatful I no longer live and go to school with bethel freaks.😭

Ah probably because I was actually a part of the church, so people obviously saw me as one of them so found no need to convert me in that sense. But now that I think about it actually, when I visited recently, a old friend asked my how my faith was and I stared at her for a while, contemplating whether I should tell her I'm not a Christian anymore or lie. I told her the truth and she just completely turned on me and started preaching to me that by saying I don't believe in God, I was putting myself above God.(??)And also a bunch of other wild things.
