This is the stance I have been thinking is most plausible as well. I think she had forgiven me as well since I have shown I'm not that person, but the triggers from the abortion and my vasectomy stirred up a lot of emotions.

I think she probably felt like she needed to convince herself and her boss that she is the victim of an abusive relationship and therefore it is okay that she is cheating. I think it's as simple as that. I'm someone who has been in some really bad relationships, so I don't take that part lightly. It just feels too convenient that it's becoming a problem now.

That has been what my circle has been saying as well. Im trying to be honest with the ones closest to me of what she has said I have done, so they have the full story. Most of their responses have included that - that its awfully convenient to bring it up now after I caught her, not after our abortion, or throughout the first 7 years of marriage.
