I didn't love the fact my TV stand is 55 inch wide and my TV is 57 inch wide, so I added an Eket from IKEA to make the stand appears wider. There's a one inch height difference obviously between the two, but with the book that's leveling it out, does it work or I did an awful job here?

I know you guys usually prefer when a TV is just sitting on its stand, but the center of the screen is still at 39 inches from the floor since I watch TV like a normal person, and not sitting upright. Do I get a pass on the wall-mounting?

TVs that are too high

Snoopy clock, new rug, pillows, throw blanket, table tray, and picture frame. Still haven't got rid of the huge Pulp Fiction laminated poster, but we all have our own flaws don't we?

Found the best way to be able to enjoy video games and certain movies with a 40 FOV (65 inch TV from 6.5 feet away), without paying for a 98 inch TV looking absurd in my small living room (my eyes are 9.8 feet from the screen when sitting on the sofa). It takes literally 10 seconds to switch layout.

Finally replaced the old leather recliner sofa (I put it in my office). I am wondering if I should add an accent chair in front of the window, or if that would make the place feel too cluttered and just leave it as is.

Based on some of you guys recommendation, I finally decided to wall mount my 65 inch TV at the exact same height it was sitting on the stand. I am now convinced this is the way. You guys are awesome, thank you!

55 vs 65 inch TV viewed from 7 feet away in front of a 11 feet wide wall

I listened to Reddit and didn't wall mount my TV, but instead I replaced the chicken feet with a universal TV stand with cable management clips for a cleaner look. Does that beat the wall mounting option?

31M, should I wall mount the TV?

31M, been changing little things in the past months (curtains, lighting, equipments) and we just added a small touch of Holiday vibes to the living room (getting a new sectional sofa soon).

Before and after. It ain't much, but seeing this picture from last year made me realize how awful it looked before. I am now thinking about painting the wall behind the TV a shade of dark green. Thoughts?

What do we think of this 39" by 56" wood laminated poster hanged vertically above the sofa? I know a horizontal one of the same size would probably make more sense aesthetically, but am I crazy of this kind of work too?
