Did you have to get surgery?

No. Don’t do surgery .. unless older and even if recommend I’d wait 6 months to 1 year before I thought about surgery . I iced it (helped a lot) heat pad helped also. Rested for like 3 months straight.. no lifting. Started working construction again like last month so 3.5 months I could work lightly ish. Now I’m like 80% at about 4.5 months can move with pain not perfect but as long as I’m not throwing heavy stuff I think I’m healing good I’m waiting 1 year complete before I lift again like weights . It takes a minimum of 6 months for this injury. Idc what anyone says it’s that simple . 6 months fully and your disc is probably still weak so I’d be careful for a full year. Not a dr . Just giving my input no advise in any way.
