To quote: “Trichoderma harzianum mycelium begins as a gray color and then changes to white becoming very dense. After fruiting, its spores turn it a dark green.” … Trich usually comes from an infected spore syringe, or an environment that is uncleanly (not implying. That is the case with you). Super important to maintain a really clean environment. I would advise spraying Lysol in the air and on the grain bag before inoculation. The needle should not be exposed to the air very long at all, and some advised to burn it with a lighter before each injection. It’s always a letdown when that nasty green pops up. I just had a tub that was looking amazing. There were lots of hyphal knots/primordia forming, I come home the next day and I see the splotch of green. Sucked it up, took the tub outside planted it in the ground. Maybe it will grow eventually. 😅 If you see this green mold at any point in one of your projects, it is just time to throw it away and start again because if you open the container and try to remove it, the spores will get everywhere and stay in your growing space greatly affecting your future projects.

You could honestly give it another go. I would, you can have a successful grow and it’s an awesome feeling to see the “fruits of your labor.” I wouldn’t say that they are necessarily dangerous, but I wouldn’t eat those mushrooms that are in there and I would just toss the bin.
