Depends on what you care about the most. Fuel economy? Probably the Accord. Cheap parts and labor? Kind of a toss up, I personally haven't had anything be that much more expensive for a Honda, Lexus, or Toyota.

My last car was a BMW 340 xi. Got off the BMW leasing treadmill, and have had the Accord for 6 years. While I do miss some of the BMW amenities such as heated steering wheel, heads up display, and various cameras, the Accord has been cost effective and reliable. Have had 69K trouble free miles and just replacing the tires now. Mostly just do oil changes. Have the 2019 1.5L EX-L model. I think this model is good enough, especially because of the leather seats. CarPlay eliminates the need for navigation. 38 mpg is a big money saver, and I would suggest you get the hybrid. The Accord isn’t as fun as the BMW, and you’re not going to win any drag racing contests. But for me, it is quiet, economical, and appropriate for my driving style these days.

Hey thanks for the info. I know the accord could never come close to the 750 msport I had. But I am ok with it. I commute 100 miles round trip a day for work. So it’s more about comfort of ride for me. After having to spend 13k to get the valves redone on the bmw I will never own another one.
