What do you guys think about Amy? (Spoilers)

So, I recently started watching doctor who s5 for the first time, and ik the opinions of Amy online are pretty divisive, some love her, some hate her. So far I love her, but I have seen online that she SA the doctor? But they wrote it horribly, I think? So, ig my question is- do the people that love her ignore that scene? Is it okay to ignore that scene since it was written badly & seemingly out of character? /gq
