To Crack or not to Crack

This issue was the second-to-last one I needed to complete the original Marvel run. Been looking for a while and this was the first time I’ve ever caught it in the wild. Normally I stay away from slabbed books because I’m a reader/collector, not an investor. I was able to haggle down to a pretty good price and I’m eager to finish the run, so I went for it.

Someday I definitely want to read it. I can always wait a year or so for the compendium, but I don’t think I’ll ever sell, so why deprive myself of enjoying it now?

It just seems so wrong to crack it. First World Problem, I know, but what to do?
