Full-time VA, full-time student—advice?

Hi!

I’m a full-time (8hrs) WFH employee, and a full-time 4th year college student. For context, I decided to take on a job because I feel unfulfilled with my life—I really like working and making money. Prior to this, I had a successful online business that I had to close. But I digress.

With my current set-up, I’ve grown accustomed to it. 8hrs trabaho, tulog, then go to class. I only have a few classes, which makes my schedule a bit flexible

Now, my worry is—the next semester is coming. We are required to get an internship na around 500 hours. I calculated na it would take around 5 months. It would probably be around 5-6hours per shift ala part-timer ang datingan.

Now, I love my job. I enjoy the people I work with, including my boss who I get along with. I feel very blessed to have this job because the company reached out to me (haba hair?).The only downside is the flexibility part—I work like your typical corporate worker na 9 to 5 nasa desk.

I was able to talk my university’s counselor and they told me to simply choose—my job or my degree.

I feel trapped. I want to keep my job, and I want to graduate. I have a lot of expenses pa sa upcoming months—I have to change apartments due to my roommate leaving due to health issues, so I have to move and find a cheaper place to live, not to mention the appliances and essentials that I have to buy for myself.

Has anyone had the same experience? Is there anything else I can do? Or can anyone give me some kind advice?

Just incase anyone’s wondering: Yes, meron po akong emergency fund na worth 3 months ng salary (since I heard this was the standard, pero sa iba up to 6 months worth)

And unfortunately no, my boss does not know I’m still studying. And I feel like it would disappoint him if I told him that.

TLDR: I want to keep both my job AND my (upcoming) internship, need advice
