Artists: is crediting paid work necessary?

I am a buyer of many artists that I love and support. I tend to reupload the art often on my social media & sometimes I forget to tag the artist on new posts.

I just reuploaded some more art I paid for, and I think one of my followers got upset thinking i forgot to credit the artist although I’ve posted their art multiple times on my page, as well as the art being made specifically for me, i felt like i didnt HAVE to make this an all-the-time thing, right?? If it helps, i will probably edit their tag on the photo. But then again, the artist did make certain freebie sketches just for me to keep & post

But I want to hear this from an artists’ opinion. If someone commissioned you & posted it on their profile without tagging you, will you be upset? Or do you see it as just a profit? I really dont want anyone to think im a jerk or something
