Yoshino cherry has weird top growth, which should I remove?

Today I bought a Yoshino cherry, now that it’s home, I’m noticing the top two branches are ‘not right’ and I don’t know which to remove.

It looks to me like they pruned off a split to let the tree continue in height, but left it and it sprouted a branch from the cut.

Any advice on which branch to cut would be appreciated.

Tree is indoors because it’s going to be 32°f here tonight and it has little buds on it.
