(Theories/Speculation) Why did Xavier

cheat on Maddie?

Now, we all know Xavier cheated on Maddie, but so far, we've yet to receive an explanation as to why. I've come up with a theory, and my theory is this: Xavier cheated on Maddie because of sexual frustration. For example, there was that one flashback scene in Season 1 Episode 2 where Xavier and Maddie were making out in the car and Xavier wanted to go further but Maddie rejected his sexual advances. And later on in Season 1, we learn that Maddie is still a virgin.

I don't know about any of you, but I don't think the Xavier/Maddie flashback and the revelation of Maddie's virginity are coincidences. I think they both have something to do with why Xavier cheated on Maddie.

In a nutshell, I think Xavier cheated on Maddie because he was tired of her turning down sex, and as a result, he decided to cheat on her with a girl who was DTF(Claire).
