Ever accidently created a perfect rival for one of your PC's?

So I had made a custom campaign based on Xianxia (mystic martial arts) and one of my pc's made themselves an unlucky black cat with the "chosen one" background.

I made some random encounters and one was a white cat thaumaturge, and without thinking, I made them chosen as well.

The random encounter happens and the white cat asks the black cat to a friendly spar.

I use "prophecy's pawn" letting me reroll a failed roll. My player is excited as they were about to use the aftereffects on me the next chance they could.

The smile and the "fuck you" from my player when he finds out the white cat has "turn away misfortune" which is a reaction which nullifies a single misfortune effect.
