What made you like Soulsborne genre and what are your thoughts on it.
Personally, a few months ago I did not had much of an idea about the Souls genre, the only thing I knew was these games are supposed to be "difficult?". So to get to know about the genre I picked up Dark souls Remaster, played it for a few hours but couldn't understand how did the upgrades work(strength, dex, vitality, int, etcetra), there was a lot I couldn't fathom, so I gave up on it as there was already an image of this genre being difficult in my head. After a few days I picked up Sekiro, the gameplay style was really different than what I saw in Dark Souls. Dodging doesn't work a lot of times the enemies will catch up to you anyway, there isn't a whole ass tree of what to upgrade like in DS and only by mastering parry you can get further. In DS it could be your gear which is at fault but in Sekiro it's purely skill I had a lot of fun with the game and I even earned a Platinum(100%) on it. After completing Sekiro, I went back to DS series but this time Dark Souls 3, I really loved the game I even completed all the boss fights(optional included) many bossfights were memorable like Sister Freide, Nameless King and Midir. After playing these 2¾ games I actually like the Soulsborne genre a lot! So I was thinking about what are my fellow Indian gamers thoughts on the genre, would really like to hear it from others aswell.
