Wanting to add an external light to the reverse circuit on my work van
I have a 2024 ram promaster and the reverse lights are terribly weak and I can’t see anything in the back up camera if it’s dark out. I bought a light bar from Harbor freight I was hoping to wire in to the existing circuit so I didn’t have to deal with a switch. Is this safe/doable? I also bought the wiring kit if I end up having to go that route and connect to the battery with a switch. Here’s a photo of the wires going to the reverse/brake setup in the van.
