Is my mc good enough?

The main antagonist for my book is (as of now)a power driven strategist,wanting power specifically for superiority.My mc on the other hand wants power for relatively “good” reasons,I’m considering building him to be an anti-hero (in the long run) probably giving him decisions that may not be morally right.The issue is this doesn’t sit well with me at the moment.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
