Accent pronouncing 'Wisconsin"

Can anyone else always tell when someone is not a WI native based on their pronunciation of "Wisconsin"? WHY do they always enunciate the CON? Wis-CONsin. A real Wisconsinite says "Wisssconsin". LMK if I'm crazy for noticing this or if other people have too.
