February 18 election: State Superintendent of Public Instruction

We get a lot of talk about the importance of local elections, and with the State Supreme Court election coming up in a couple months, I want to quickly redirect focus to an election happening statewide in two weeks!

I don't have children, and so the horse I have in this race is simply the general betterment of public education statewide. I have no direct qualms with Underly (again, from someone with no children and who doesn't pay attention to the issue of public schools in the state as much as I do other topics). Jeff Wright seems like a decent guy, f not a little naive with respect to "working across the aisle" considering our current legislature. Kinser raises many red flags for me.

What's r/wisconsin's thoughts?

EDIT: resubmitted cuz I'm dumb and said "April 18" in the title.
