Where are the good paying jobs??

A rant of sorts, but it’s very discouraging how low the pay ranges for jobs in the wine industry are. (For reference, I’m in the US). I’ve worked in the industry for about thirteen years and am earning 55k working for a wine wholesaler. And I’d say this is very typical in sales distribution: to be earning around 60k despite being a professional in the industry for a decade +. All the while being expected to be out wining and dining in accounts. Where are the other folks who want to be here but need to make an actual income??
