how to find people to paddle with?

Hey, I used to do canoe slalom and enjoyed the whitewater a lot. I have been taking a break due to university and kinda lost most of my contacts to the other athletes. Where should I look to find people to go on a trip with. Specifically i am planning to go to austria and the Ötztal area on vacation and would like to go out on the water. Preferably starting on class 3 and maybe going up from there. Any tips?
