What “hard-to-find” bottles should I bring back from Scotland?

I’m leaving for Scotland tomorrow and hope to bring back 6-7 bottles of scotch in my checked bag. I already have the inflatable wine sleeves ready to go.

We’ll be in Edinburgh, Inverness, Glencoe, Oban, and the Speyside area. I was planning on stopping at a few of the famous whisky stores in Edinburgh, like Cadenheads and Royal Mile.

I’m newer to scotch, but I’ve liked most that I’ve tried. I do enjoy peat, but more on the mild to moderate side. I also like sherry finished like Glendronach 15. Glenmorangie Signet and Clynelish 14 are my favorites so far, but I also enjoyed Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask.

Basically, I would really appreciate the more seasoned drinkers to help me figure out which distilleries or bottles are very rare or aren’t imported into the USA.
