Help finding a fantasy, potentially with angels, book

I remember very little about it, all i remember is that it‘s probably not the first one in the series. The female protagonist is some kind of chosen protector and i think has an angel (?) companion. When fighting she uses two kopesh or thats what i remember, always seemed weird to me. She is also still in school and attends a home party.
