sci-fi YA dystopia with a female main character and a rich boy with a k name

this is a long shot because i don’t have a lot of details that i remember but i know of the characters there was a girl and two guys, one of the guys was named kai or something with a k and he seemed like love interest material but he turned out not to be. i think his dad was evil and he was at first but came to the side of good over the book and was on the good side for the rest of the series. there were either three or four books in the series.

i know there was something with computers and i swear there was enhancements or a substance or something but for the life of me i cannot remember and i may be putting other books together

they were teenagers and they, as in all dystopian novels, rebelled against the regime or whatever

the girl was poor and part of the underbelly or something, i swear she worked somewhere with a mentor, maybe an uncle? and it was some mechanics or spare parts place, and i think he died or almost died. maybe it was broken into?

like i said, i know it’s a long shot, i really didn’t remember much. if it helps i would have read it in the 2010s. that’s all i got
