Children’s book created around the 2000s ish was about detectives trying to find a missing pie.

Ok so Im currently a teen, and when I was younger there was this book. It was at my school library in elementary and it was about a missing pie I think and it had detectives. I can’t remember at alll tho the title and it kills me everyday lol. Im pretty sure the book came out some time at least during the 2000s but maybe earlier. The book also had human characters and I think it had a tree on the front. I also remember some of the characters I think wearing plaid clothing but this could be wrong. If u know of any books that could be this one plz plz plzzz let me know it was my favorite book as a child and I would do anything to read it again.
