Small bronze poodle approx 7cm tall

Found by my father metal detecting in Beverly, UK. Think it is bronze, and it is solid.

Has remnents of black paint or enamel , orange / red in the eyes.

Looks like a poodle, body posture is quite human though. Seems to be wearing some sort of breast plate. Does not stand unaided, no sign of it been soldered or mounted to anything.
