Why do people do this? It's not uncommon to see 4 - 8 players with decently high levels and closely matching pfps (commonly similar anime, or ai generated general portraits), sitting in unranked 10v10 lobbies.
Genuinely, what is the point of this? "Oh yeah, we steamrolled some randoms in an unranked game!" OK cool. Congratulations. Good for you.
I guess this feeds into the discussion about there being no mm for unranked games. You can see everyone's levels, which does help you decide if a game is going to be stacked, but usually the team with the highest avg level wins, so people will just join that. It creates this situation where there are always a few nearly full lobbies on the server list that don't complete because one team is stacked.
