Favorite Beatles solo career?
Do you guys have a favorite solo Beatle career? I’ve loved The Beatles my whole life, and they were the first band I’d ever heard when I was a kid. Now a senior in college, I started digging into their solo careers last year …and wow. Haha, I noticed I’ve missed a lot!
Naturally, I’ve gravitated towards the conclusive two best solo careers from the group: George and Paul. If I’m picking a favorite, it’s definitely George’s solo career. All Things Must Pass is such a masterpiece, the best solo album from any solo Beatle in my opinion. I REALLY enjoy George Harrison (self-titled album) or, Harrison ‘79, which it is better known as. That was the first Harrison album I collected, and I must say, it’s my personal favorite. I’ve gotta snag Living In The Material World, but once I do that, I think I’ll have George’s top 5 solo records (again, in my opinion).
Paul is fantastic too. I’ve been getting into his 90’s and 2000’s stuff recently. Also, Pipes of Peace is a GREAT album, I don’t care what anyone says. 80’s Paul is really intriguing with the exception of Press to Play 🙂↔️🙂↔️
