Which hotel to should I stay at?

I am planning on visiting Vegas in July. As a first time tourist in Las Vegas, which hotel would y’all recommend to stay at? Preferably one along the strip.

Quick Little side note for context. I am visiting from Canada and my budget is CA$1500 (US$1047) for four-nights-two-people. So yeah, I’m just looking for a great Vegas experience, something nice.
