how do u avoid silly mistakes

i actually feel so dumb… on my spec sac i got 29/50 and thought i was gonna get 35-40 cause i made so many silly mistakes. literally careless errors like not adding numbers together properly and mistyping into my calculator. how do i get around this cause im tryna get a 35 in spec and there’s not rlly room for error like this.
