Still Applying?

I’ve applied for 63 jobs so far (just over the last few months). Referred many times but I know it takes time. Are people still applying even with the most likely incoming hiring freeze? This has become an obsession for me nowadays. Checking at midnight and throughout the day, and continued applications. I’m dying to get out of teaching 😅
