Probationary Termination

Venting.

I applied for. hired immediately. Crazy right ! Only to be terminated 5 weeks later. No warning just you're not the right fit. Failure to follow instructions. Meaning making small mistakes cuz hello I'm still learning. Which leads to Failure to follow policy. Then the kicker Failure to integrate as a member of the team.

I asked for examples & they didn't give any. It was never brought to my attn. Totally blindsided & embarrassed. I've never been terminated & it was my first fed job. I just feel so disheartened by the experience.

I really liked my job & saw myself long term even though I was commuting 1.5 one way.
