Service Animal impeding on legroom

Edited out any identifying information.

Flew Bulkhead from on a 737-800. It was one of the most uncomfortable legs of the trip, no pun intended.

I've been trying to understand from the passengers perspective, I mean they have a right to fly with their service animal. But what right do we as adjacent passengers have in this situation?

Had to ask them to reposition the dog a number of times. At one point she was crushing my foot with her weight. Unfortunately the two FA’s who walked by only commented how adorable she is, not appearing to recognize how much space she was taking from me and window seat passenger.
