Underscores’ approach to mixing

This might be a stupid question but in her production speedrun videos I noticed often underscores leaves a lot of tracks, particularly guitars, quite dry with just some compression and sometimes no EQ. How does she get such great mixes with such little processing? I guess she might be doing more processing on a bus or group that isn’t shown but it just surprised me how most of the plugins on tracks in her Ableton sessions seemed to be for sound design and I couldn’t see a lot of evidence of more specific compression and EQ.
