EBT?

Im heavily considering applying for an ebt card just bc I’m going to be paying for everything school related (tuition, housing, books) and budgeting for groceries will be very hard for me so i thought an ebt will help me out. so i wanted to ask if anyone has an ebt card and how is that? is there any repercussions later in the future, will i have to pay anything back?
