Disagreement with the host from turo for the damage cost

So I rented a car from turo and accidentally scratched on it. I am not trying run away from the responsibility but i just wonder if the host is charging me too much.

First, the host texted us a quote which she need to repair the four panel on the car so it will cost 1k for each panel. And I disagreed the cost and argued with her. After that she said she accidentally quoted the pre existing damaged back light into our quote. I dont know if she is charging us if i was agree to pay for it lol.

So she got a second quote and sent me, which is not included any specific part of scratches to the repair cost. But the car had a lot of pre existing scratches on it, and i am not a pro i am not sure if the price is gonna be different due to the different amount of scratches repair. So she asked for 3k for the damage charge now and i wanna know if it is reasonable.

Then i asked if i could speak to the bodyshop so i could know more about the cost, and she said she is gonna make it through turo since we cannot make this out. She told me the turo is gonna charge me for processing fee so it will be the last chance to pay directly to her. I just feel like she had a bad attitude even tho i was being very polite from the beginning.

Also, there is some scratches pretty small that I believe it goes to the wear and tear, yet the host calculates the scratches to be more than 3inches even it is separated. I am not sure if it calculates like that way.

Once again i am taking the responsibility but just the cost is too overpriced for me since i am a student. I just really need some help!!!
