Banjo Kazooie keeps crashing at same point - any advice?

Hi, im playing BK on my Smart Pro.

It has played fine for about 8-10 hours, and was going well till i got to Clockwork Woods level. As soon as i enter the door the screen turns black, and the console crashes. It just stays on that screen. I have tried rebooting the console, and also saved the file and started again, and its still crashing at that point. I tried to open the rom in a different emulator, but i cant see the save file :( Any advice?
