Ethiopia Safety (Bale Mountains by Flight)

Hello everyone!

I'm considering a trip to Ethiopia soon (Addis Ababa and potentially another destination if safe) – I have always had an interest in the culture, food, and nature.

I was curious about safety in and around Bale Mountains National Park. The geography and wildlife seem fascinating, but I was wondering how safe it is to visit the park (Harenna Forest, Sanetti Plateau, and Web Valley) if I were to fly into nearby Bale Robe/Goba and stay at Bale Mountain Lodge in the park.

Different governments seem to have varying assessments of safety in the Bale Zone (where the park is located), which is why I was wondering.
