Are 3-star Michelin restaurants worth it? 😊

Hello there! I am wondering whether Michelin 3-star holding restaurants are really worth the hype. So far in my life I have travelled quite a lot to different countries in the world and always enjoyed trying out local cuisines of different caliber (from small food carts to rather fancy restaurants). I have been to some 1-star Michelin restaurants and they were generally fine of course, like any high-quality restaurant to be honest, but recently (maybe due to the YouTube algorithm feed 😁) I started wondering about an experience you get in a 3* Michelin restaurant. I will be traveling to Paris soon, which has a damn lot of Michelin restaurants in general and am wondering whether visiting one 3-star is worth it this time.

Those who were in 3-star Michelin restaurants, could you please share your experiences regarding how was it, whether it was worth your time, whether the expectations were fulfilled or not, and finally whether the food was tasty 😅
