Late truck days

So my store refuses to follow the book and switch truck and recovery days? So instead we get text messages at 5:15 in the morning telling us to go back to bed and come at 10 because truck is now late, or rarely we are lucky and told the evening before it will be a late truck.

So not only is it a major waste of time in the morning I’m now expected to stay until late into the evening past my 1pm (my scheduled time) regardless if I had plans or a doctor’s appointment with no prior warning. So glad I can’t plan anything on Monday’s. Store manger told me I couldn’t leave after being told the day of truck being late and I had plans after my scheduled time.

Please make it make sense next time I’ll just leave it’s been almost a year of this I don’t care they can write me up.
