Aside from Medieval 3 and Empire 2, what games do Historical fans want

Medieval 3 and, to a lesser extent, Empire 2, are some of the most anticipated future games among the Historical fanbase, but that brings up the question; what next after that. Let's say that the next historical games that CA makes are Empire 2 and Medieval 3, what settings/games does the historical fanbase want to see made after that. Would a Mongol Total war or Early Modern Total war be popular among the historical community or perhaps something else?
