Since CA is looking into updating SoC and its featured races again, here is a reminder that the Lord of Change is still, by far, the lowest quality greater demon in terms of model/animations.

CA has been doing some great updates for the game in these last months, but I actually can't believe they haven't adressed this in almost 3 years. The other 3 greater demons got absolutely amazing models, while Tzeentch has to make do with the ancient game 1 one. They did give it a new head, but the rest of the body is simply not up to the standard and as far as I know, there aren't even new animations. If there is no equivalent to the Great Unclean One literally shitting on its enemies while nurglings dance in joy under that brown and green shower, then what's the point in all of this?

What I dont get is: Kairos' model was clearly made with the new GW model in mind, so most of the work is kind of already done? I don't pretend to know how the modeling and animation process works, but I find it hard to believe that combining a single head with Kairos' body is as much work as creating the model/skeleton from scratch. I'd also love to see LoC with weapons variants like Vampire Coast has for their admirals. Maybe one with staff and sword and the other just with a staff, but a ranged attack in addition. This would also distinguish it a bit from other exalted greater demons.

The skill tree also needs a serious overhaul! Lords of Change are NOT bad melee fighters in lore, so they should have a yellow skill line (with ranged boost in case we ever get a LoC with ranged attacks).

And lastly, magic... Tzeentch is the god of magic, so they should have access to all basic lores. Yes, Lore of Tzeentch and Lore of Metal are very strong, but this is simply about having the option, same as with the Slann. Also, why is the faction of some random gold fetishist blasting Vietnam war music better at magic than the literal god of magic? Cmon CA!
