Addressing some stuff
Regardless of what’s going on and what has been said, I still extend my deepest condolences to Tophia regarding the tragic shooting of her brother. Despite the circumstances surrounding this event, my empathy for her remains unwavering.
It is crucial to clarify that I do not believe the shooting itself was her fault. In that moment, there was nothing she could have done to prevent it.
However, the circumstances that led to their living in a car were largely a consequence of her own decisions. She refused to secure employment, prioritized social media as her career while earning less than the minimum wage, and squandered money on frivolous expenses instead of contributing to rent. These choices had direct repercussions.
What I find unacceptable is her insinuation that I was somehow responsible for the shooting. First and foremost, this claim is entirely false and defamatory. I have made many omissions, but this accusation crosses a line. I reside over 1,000 miles away, making it physically impossible for me to have been involved. Furthermore, the actual shooter was apprehended and subsequently killed on-site. How could I have committed this heinous crime if I am still alive? Her accusations are not only baseless but also dangerous.
It is particularly concerning that someone who claims to be “pro-Black” would falsely accuse a Black man of a crime he did not commit. Such behavior is precisely what leads to innocent Black men being harmed or incarcerated. The fact that she is engaging in this behavior only serves to expose the performative nature of her purported activism.
While I have no intention of pursuing legal action, I reserve the right to take appropriate measures if she continues to spread these false claims. Ultimately, I will not allow these baseless accusations to go unchallenged.
