Is 3 harder than 2?

We hear a lot about the « terrible two » phase, but based on several posts I saw here, 3 seems to be just as bad or even worse.

My son just turned 2 and yes we face some challenges but I feel like it’s still pretty manageable so maybe I should be scared of what’s coming? Parents of older children, what do you think?
