Through the movie, we see that he got the girl at some point (i don’t really remember what else happened) He regularly broke-into the planetarium/science centre to use the telescope to find his home-planet • He communicates with his father via an 8 mm movie projector that uses a special crystal. • There’s a standout scene where, after leaving Earth’s atmosphere, he suddenly gains about 10× his strength and quips something like, “My father always said the Earth’s atmosphere was too heavy.” • Villain Twist: • A villain hypnotizes him to doubt his father’s stories—including a claim that his home planet’s name was that of a schizophrenic drug, and his father was imagining things when he told the stories to him when he was a child. • Ultimately, it’s revealed that he really is from outer space, and the manipulation was meant to discredit his origins.
