About Black Domains
In the three body problem, I have some problems about how black domains. They are kind of weird in my opinion.
Do black domains... move? All celestial objects are moving. The solar system is orbiting the supermassive black hole at the center of the milky way, I think. So are the spaces of reduced lightspeed moving alongside the solar system? Is there scientific basis for this?
Are black domains really so absolute? What if they only coat the outermost layer of the solar system in black domain, wouldn't we still have normal lightspeed inside and computers and whatnot will be able to work? Even more, what if we leave a some holes in the black domain? This hole can be like, as big as earth, or maybe even several times bigger, and it'll let almost no light from the sun through because it's a small teeny tiny fraction of the bigness of the solar system. I guess maybe that black domain rupture phenomenon could be likely to happen. I'm not really sure.
